Need a storage unit last-minute? Don’t like talking to people? Hate wasting paper? Whatever your reason for moving in online, know that it’s possible at Modern Storage and it’s EASY.
Here’s how you can move into a storage unit on our website right now in five simple steps.
When you’re ready to start moving in online, start by selecting your storage location on our Locations page.
You have three excellent Modern Storage locations to choose from. Two are in Little Rock, and one is in North Little Rock:
From there, you get to select your unit.
On the location page of your choice, you can see what storage unit sizes we have available.
Please note: Not all facilities have the same storage options. So, if you don’t see something you’re looking for, give us a call and we can help you.
When you see the size you want, tap on the “Move In” button next to it. If there is no “Move In” button, that means we do not have a unit available in that size.
Once you click “Move In,” our software will automatically open and start the online move-in process.
You don’t even have to pick a unit number, our software does it for you and skips you to the next step.
On the next screen, you will see a quote for your unit with a move-in date of today. There will be a full month’s rent at the top, with the prorated amount below that.
(All you will owe when moving in online will be the prorated amount for your first month. From then on, you will owe the full amount on the first day of the month. All leases are month-to-month!)
Underneath your rent amount, you can then customize your unit by adding extra services.
Will you be stopping by your storage unit early in the morning or late at night? You can add 24-hour access for just a $10 a month.
Are you keeping valuables in your storage unit? You can add tenant insurance on this screen, too. For as low as $9 a month, you can have a $2,000 policy covered for your unit.
If you add a service, you will see the associated fees added to your move-in quote.
If everything looks good, hit the “Next” button.
Now, it’s time to register your account.
The software will ask for the following information:
Once you submit your information, hit the “Next” button.
You’re almost there!
Just read over the terms and conditions, sign your lease, hit “Submit,” and you’re all moved in.
A member of our staff will give you a personal call to verify your move-in and answer any questions you may have. (We will also ask to scan a copy of your driver’s license to verify your identity.)
Now, you’re all set! You are officially a Modern Storage tenant and we are so happy to have you.
