Here at Modern Storage, we believe in making the moving process easy and affordable. To do this, we offer some free services to any customer that chooses to store with us.
We understand how stressful moving can be, especially when it comes to finding a way to transport your items. Not only do we have a moving truck at each Modern Storage location, but we also offer it for FREE to use with the sign up of a new 5x10 or larger storage unit! When you store with Modern Storage, you receive a free truck rental within the first 30 days of your sign up to move your items into your 5x10 or larger unit!
There are some limits on our free moving truck, however. First, we will need to have a copy of your auto insurance on file. We require 48 hours before the day of your rental to verify coverage. We offer two different rental time slots, either our 8:30am-12:30pm slot or our 1pm-5pm slot. You also get the first 40 miles for free with your rental. Needing the truck for a full day or beyond forty miles? No big deal! If you need to go over 40 miles, we only charge .60 cents a mile. For a full day, your rental cost would only be $39.
To give you an idea of how much you can fit in our free trucks, they come in at 15 feet long and include a ramp. A 15-foot truck can fit an average 1-2 bedroom apartment per trip. The ramp matches the height of the truck for easier loading with dollies.
Moving truck rentals can cost hundreds of dollars in rental and mileage charges, let alone the cost of the insurance. But we at Modern Storage offer this free truck to any new customer within 30 days of their move-in date. If you would like to use the free truck, all you need is a valid driver's license and comprehensive collision and liability insurance coverage for a 15-foot box truck.
All our storage facilities in the Little Rock metro area are fully surrounded by fencing, making them only accessible via security gates. To enter the lot, every storage customer is given a unique code only they can use at the security gate’s keypad. We always know who is coming and going by which code is being used.
We also have 24-hour surveillance at each self-storage location. If any incidents occur on site, we can review our footage for you, no problem.
An added free security feature at our West Little Rock location off Chenal Parkway, each storage unit also comes with a complimentary individual door alarm. You can synch your alarm system to an app on your phone to receive immediate notifications whenever it is tripped. We also keep track of all door alarms, as well. So, we have your back 24 hours a day at no extra cost.
Have you ever heard of a self-storage facility that offered free coffee, water, conference room, or business center? Well, now you have! The West Little Rock location of Modern Storage has all these free storage amenities that customers can utilize anytime our offices are open. If you’re moving on a hot day, grab some water! If you’re shivering while moving into your unit on a winter day, enjoy complimentary Starbucks coffee or tea.
That conference center and business center we mentioned are also open for you to use. To reserve the conference room for a meeting or another gathering, just speak to a member of our staff.
