SUMMER HEAT AND MOVING

Are you trying to move during the summer? Finding a suitable storage facility is essential, and the right storage facility can make all the difference in moving. Because moving can be more complicated than you imagine, and the heat can almost be unbearable, and if you don't plan your move-in correctly, it could also be dangerous.

Little things like moving earlier in the day can make a world of difference and save you a lot of time and energy. This is partly due to allowing our tenants cooler periods in the day to move their belongings in and out of their units. Let's start with this Arkansas weather, and my goodness is it hot. So why not make it a little better for yourself by staying hydrated. Drink plenty of fluids before starting your move. Once you get everything packed up and brought to us to store, come inside, and grab complimentary water to keep you hydrated as you pack your items into our climate control units.

Did someone say climate control? Do you have items that need to be protected from that Arkansas weather, such as furniture, wood items, paintings, etc.? As you acquire items in the summer, whether personal items or your kids' belongings, that shed in your backyard that stays 100 degrees will not protect your essential items from mold, mildew, or cracking due to heat.
